A date has been set next month for a hearing about a Sandwell councillor’s alleged corruption.
Oldbury councillor, Mahboob Hussain, the former deputy leader - who denies any wrongdoing - faces accusations of misconduct and improper behaviour regarding land sales and parking tickets.
He was due to appear before the authority's standards committee in August 2016 and then again in March 2017. Both hearings were cancelled following Mr Hussain’s High Court legal challenges.
But a three-day enquiry is now set to take place between January 8 and 10.
