Police have launched an appeal after it emerged a shotgun, similar to the one picured, was among items stolen in a burglary in Kingswinford.
Thieves entered the property in Ploverdale Crescent last Wednesday, stealing the weapon, as well as jewellery, cash, iPads, a mobile phone and a games console.
Detectives say a crucial component in the gun, its forearm, had not been stolen, meaning the weapon could not be fired.
It’s understood up to £20,000 in cash was taken in the raid.
