Keepers at Dudley Zoo have announced the death of their snow leopard cub, weeks after his mother passed away.
Four-week old Milo died earlier this morning, after being taken ill overnight. Zoo Director, Derek Grove, said:
“Despite valiant round-the-clock care from our Senior Keeper, Sarah Evans, since the loss of Milo’s mum and the best veterinary care, nothing could be done to save him."
A postmortem will be carried out this afternoon.
