Spooks And Sparks At Avoncroft Museum

Spooktacular Halloween and Bonfire Night's are set to return to Avoncroft Museum during half-term week with lots of activities to keep younger visitors entertained!

From Tuesday 25th – Sunday 30th October there will be a host of Halloween-themed activities.  Visitors can carve their own Halloween pumpkin, create creepy crafts, listen to creepy tales from the crypt and fly around Avoncroft on their handmade broomstick.

Outdoors there is a Hidden Horrors trail around Avoncroft’s beautiful 19 acre site and the collection of 30 historic buildings to explore.  Normal Museum admission charges apply and there is a £4 additional charge for Pumpkin Carving in the New Guesten Hall.

On Saturday, 5th November, Avoncroft is hosting a traditional bonfire night.  Join us before the Bonfire from 2pm till 4pm, help make the Guy and make a lantern to take part in the Bonfire parade.  There will be a BBQ and the tearoom will be open for hot and cold drinks.  There are no fireworks or loud bangs at this event and it is ideal for children.  Gates for the Bonfire open at 4.00pm and tickets cost £3 per person.
