State-of-the-art centre of excellence for health education announced

Halesowen College has announced the latest development in its estate portfolio; its state-of-the-art Centre of Excellence for Health Education.

Shenstone House has undergone multi-million pound renovation and is scheduled for completion in Autumn 2025.  This refurbishment will create a Centre of Excellence for Health Education and will be equipped with cutting-edge facilities that will provide an immersive learning experience for learners.

The new Centre of Excellence for Health Education will feature facilities that will simulate real-world environments, including specialised training rooms, advanced medical equipment and collaborative learning spaces.

These features will ensure that learners have hands-on experience and gain the practical and key industry skills that will prepare them for success within the health and care sectors.

Jacquie Carman, Principal and Chief Executive at Halesowen College said: “The new Centre of Excellence for Health Education represents a transformational step for Halesowen College and our learners.

"With the demands placed on the health and care sectors, developing key skills are more critical than ever and we are proud to offer a facility that will empower learners to make a real difference in people’s lives.

"We look forward to welcoming our first cohort of learners in the new academic year.”

The College is currently accepting applications for September from learners looking to enter the health and social sectors. You can visit halesowen.ac.uk for information on the range of courses available.
