Residents and members of the local community gathered at a Stourbridge-based care home for a special street party to celebrate a huge milestone.
Parkfield Grange, part of Cinnamon Care Collection, celebrated the care group’s 10th anniversary as part of a nationwide celebration across all Cinnamon Care Collection homes.
The local community joined residents and their loved ones to enjoy a visit from the Stourbridge Pre War Car Club and Stourbridge Scooter Club, plus live music and entertainment from Ukes On The Edge.
There was also an Ultimate Bhangra Workshop with Francis Dwane and a performance and aerial display from Pole Finesse.
Victoria Cruxton, General Manager at Parkfield Grange, said: “Hosting our street party was the perfect way to mark Cinnamon Care Collection’s ten-year anniversary.
"It has been absolutely lovely to see the residents having so much fun, soaking up the festive atmosphere alongside their families and local neighbours.
"The energy was fantastic, from the nostalgia of the pre-war cars and scooters to the incredible music from Ukes On The Edge and watching our residents get involved with the Bhangra workshop.”
Resident Michael Dickinson, 85, commented: "It was a fantastic day from start to finish. The entertainment was brilliant and I especially enjoyed seeing all the vehicles; they’re always a highlight for me.
"You could tell how much effort had gone into organising everything and I’m very thankful, because it was clear how much everyone enjoyed themselves."
