Stourbridge man denies murder

A 33 year-old Stourbridge man has denied killing a neighbour whose body was found in his ground floor flat in the town.

Unemployed Daniel Jones pleaded not guilty to murdering 59-year-old Paul Tompkins when he appeared before Wolverhampton Crown Court.

The body of Mr Tompkins was found on New Year’s Day and a post mortem revealed he died from stab injuries.
