Stourbridge MP takes new PPS role

Stourbridge MP, Suzanne Webb has taken the role of Parliamentary Private Secretary to the Education Secretary, Gillian Keegan.

Ms Webb will liaise with MPs on behalf of the cabinet minister in the House of Commons to ensure there is good communication between the department and MPs. Suzanne said:

“I am really pleased to be appointed to this role at this important government department. Education is a vital building block in our country’s continued success as we compete in the world.

“I am sure to be busy supporting the secretary of state and making sure she is aware of a broad range of views across the House of Commons, as well as ensuring MPs are informed of what is happening in the department.”

The latest appointment comes after Suzanne was PPS to former Prime Minister Liz Truss.

She has previously been a government whip and a PPS at the Ministry of Defence and at the Department for International Trade.
