Stourbridge Woman Left Cats To Die Of Starvation

A Stourbridge woman’s been banned from keeping animals for life after she left two cats in a house to starve to death.

Karen Whittingham, was sentenced at Birmingham Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday for causing unnecessary suffering to the two cats.

The RSPCA discovered the dead animals in March at a property in Bridle Road, Wollaston, which Ms Whittingham had been evicted from in early January.

Whittingahm, now living in Winford Avenue, Kingswinford, was also given a four-month jail term, suspended for 12 months.
