The Merry Hill Centre is hosting a series of fun-filled events guaranteed to be a hit among both parents and kids alike this summer.
Throughout the summer holidays, a range of sensory activities will be available for all ages – including interactive dinosaur games, fun fair rides for the whole family, and tasty games and treats to get stuck into.
Visitors can even soak up the sun and feel the sand between their toes at Merry Hill’s very own summer beach at the Fun Park on Engine Lane. The Fun Park and Summer Beach is open to visitors from now until 5th September from 12pm – 8pm (including weekends, bank holidays and school holidays).
The beach includes traditional fun fair rides such as dodgems and teacups, as well as paddling pools for visitors to unwind. There's also plenty to tantalise your taste buds, with delicious street food from local favourites including Salty Dogg and The Caribbean Kitchen as well as ice cream from Carte D'Or.
A day out to the summer beach at the fun fair promises to be a great British day out. Entry is free, but on weekends and busy periods it is recommended to book online to avoid disappointment.
For more information and to book tickets, you can visit Mega Value Fun Park online.
Also present at the centre are the Dino RAWR events, which include free interactive shows where kids can learn how to train a dinosaur and become a dinosaur wrangler. The events run between 10am – 3pm from Wednesday 11th – Friday 13th August on the lower mall near Mango.
Jonathan Poole, Centre Manager at Merry Hill said: “Our events are the perfect way to keep children entertained this summer – but there’s something for parents to enjoy too, with a range of activities for all ages, including space for adults to unwind and relax.
“Our summer events have been a huge hit with visitors so far, and we look forward to welcoming more families over the coming weeks. With all these events and over 250 brands within the centre itself, there’s never been a better time to plan a day out at Merry Hill.”
