Suspected Wolverhampton car thief arrested and charged

Police have arrested a suspected car thief after a vehicle was stolen from outside a home in East Park last week.

Investigators have been carrying out enquiries after the car was taken from the Deans Road area on the evening of Tuesday 25 August.

On Wednesday morning a man in his 20s was arrested at a property in the Parkfields area of the city.

Jack Garrett, aged 25, has been charged with theft of a vehicle and appeared at Wolverhampton Magistrates Court yesterday.
