A car crashed with a taxi partially blocking a road in Halesowen - alongside a series of accidents dealt with by emergency services.
Significant damage was caused when a Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a crash with a taxi yesterday evening. It came after hours after a car smashed through a wall outside a pub in Sedgley late on Friday. The accident happened in Dudley Road, close to Mucklow Hill, at around 6.45pm.
Three people were inside the taxi when it was involved in the crash with the car. The taxi driver went to hospital with back injuries after the car collided with the rear of the vehicle.
The passengers were believed to have minor head injuries and were checked over. Two fire engines, two ambulances and police attended the scene.
One side of the road was blocked off while the taxi and car were assessed and made safe by firefighters. The wreckage of the two vehicles was then able to be moved.
