Teddy bears and music set to take over Quarry Bank Park

There’ll be teddy bears and toe tapping tunes at Quarry Bank Park this summer.

The Friends of Quarry Bank Park are hosting a teddy bears picnic on 12 August from 2.30pm at Stevens Park.

There’ll be a guess the name of the teddy game, plus activities with the park ranger including parachute games, teddy treasure hunt, rounders and a bear hunt. A teddy mascot will also be meeting and greeting little ones and their families.

Everyone is welcome, picnics are recommended and children can bring their teddy bears along to enjoy the fun.

The event coincides with the park’s final outdoor performance of the season, when the Black Country Brass Band will be striking up a tune - admission to the picnic and concert is free.
