
A man has been arrested after a student was slashed with a knife outside Halesowen College.
Emergency services were called to Whittingham Road campus of the college at 12:20pm yesterday after a 16-year-old girl received cuts to her face.
An 18-year-old male has been arrested on suspicion of wounding and remains in custody while the investigation continues. A West Midlands Police spokesman said:
"An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of wounding after a girl was attacked with a knife.
"A 16-year-old victim was left with minor injuries to her face and the suspect remains in custody."
The victim was taken to hospital and treated for minor injuries.
