Teenager Jailed For Gun Point Robbery

A Netherton teenager’s been jailed for five years at Wolverhampton Crown Court, after threatening to shoot a man and stealing his car.

Shakeel Janjua and two others went to the man's Birmingham home to see the car that had been advertised online. But the 19-year-old produced a black pistol and threatened the owner with it.

He then drove off in the Seat with one of his accomplices. The vehicle was found abandoned a short time later after being involved in a collision.

Janjua, of Knowle Hill Road, admitted robbery, possessing an imitation firearm, two charges of dangerous driving and having no licence or insurance.
