The History Boys opens in Wolverhampton

Wolverhampton Grand Theatre’s in-house production of Alan Bennett’s classic has opened its doors to rave reviews.

The show - which runs until the end of the month - is directed by Jack Ryder and features Ian Redford as Hector, Jeffrey Holland as Headmaster, Victoria Carling as Mrs Lintott and Lee Comley as Irwin.

The production is being hailed as another success in the theatres return to producing shows in-house after being largely a receiving theatre for a number of years. It follows the success of shows such as Brassed Off in 2017 and a more recent production of Ladies Day.

Tickets for The History Boys are available at grandtheatre.co.uk, by calling 01902 42 92 12 or in person at the Box Office.
