Thousands of people have signed an online petition urging disciplinary action against Dudley North MP Ian Austin after he told Jeremy Corbyn to “sit down and shut up”.
He made the comment to the Labour leader during a House of Commons debate on the Chilcot report into the Iraq war.
Following the intervention, people took to the MP's Twitter feed to air their displeasure.
But Mr Austin says the majority of people in Dudley tell him they don’t agree with Jeremy Corbyn.
