Tickets on sale for Strictly stand-up's second Dudley tour date

Comic Chris Ramsey has announced a second Dudley date for his eagerly-anticipated stand-up tour next year.

The comedian, currently one of the contestants on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing, has almost sold out his first ‘20/20’ show at Dudley Town Hall on Friday April 3rd. A second date at the St James’s Road venue has been on Saturday October 17.

Tickets for the new date went on sale at 10am this morning and are expected to go quickly. Alex Jackson, booker for Dudley Borough Halls, said:

"Tickets for Chris Ramsey’s first ‘20/20’ tour show with us at Dudley Town Hall in April are flying out, so we’re delighted to add this extra date.

"Chris is a wonderfully funny stand-up and we can’t wait to see him again, but first we’re backing him to do well on Strictly and really hope he goes far in the competition!"

Tickets cost £22 and will be available from Friday online at boroughhalls.co.uk or via the box office on 01384 812 812. Doors for both Chris Ramsey shows will open at 6.30pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm.

At Dudley Town Hall Gary Powndland, Jimeoin, Jim Davidson, Dave Gorman, Roy Chubby Brown, Frank Skinner, Lenny Henry, Milton Jones and David Baddiel are all due to bring tour shows in the coming months.

Other upcoming comedy shows at Stourbridge Town Hall include Inspector Drake & The Black Widow – a comedy whodunit play from the creators of Doreen – on Friday October 11; and Mitch Benn on Friday November 1. Regular Kum-n-avaloff comedy nights run at the hall on the first Thursday of the month.
