Two more Dudley councillors defect to Reform UK

Two Dudley councillors from the same electoral ward have defected from the Conservative party to join Reform UK.

Cllr James Clinton and Cllr Jason Thorne, who both represent Pedmore and Stourbridge East ward have joined Sedgley councillor, Shaun Keasey who made the move several months ago.

Marco Longhi, former Dudley North MP and senior Reform UK campaigner, said: “This is a big moment for Reform in Dudley. James and Jason are dedicated local councillors who know their residents deserve better than the tired old parties.

“Their decision shows the momentum is unmistakable. The Turquoise Wave is coming, and Dudley is leading the way.

“Reform UK continues to grow fast in the Black Country and more local representatives choose a party that speaks plainly, acts decisively, and puts local people first.”
