Van driver hospitalised after crashing into house

A van driver was taken to hospital in a serious condition yesterday morning after crashing into a house in Halesowen.

Emergency services were called to the scene on Carters Lane near to the junction of Royal Oak Road shortly after 9.45am.

West Midlands Ambulance Service sent two ambulances and a paramedic officer to the scene, while an air ambulance from Warwickshire and Northamptonshire Air Ambulance also attended.
