Volunteer groups in Sandwell can now apply for the 2022 Queen's Award for Voluntary Service.

The award is considered the MBE for volunteer groups and recognises exceptional work in the community helping others. 

For any Sandwell organisations interested in applying for the 2022 Queen’s Award, the council is offering help and support.

The council is holding a virtual workshop on Tuesday 8 June 2021 to go through the nomination process and outline the support that groups can receive to apply for the award.

Those who are interested in applying and who wish to be invited to the workshop, can register by email. Registrations should be received by Friday 14th May 2021.
