Walsall residents offered help with school applications

Walsall parents and carers are invited to attend drop-in sessions with Walsall Council school admissions team to receive help with completing their online primary school application.

Children born between 1 September 2019 and 31 August 2020 are due to start reception in September 2024, and applications close at 10pm on 15 January 2024.

Parents/carers can visit one of the following drop-in sessions to meet a member of the team, who will be able to assist with their application:  


Location: Willenhall Library

Date: Friday, 15th December 2023

Time: : 9:30am until 12:30pm

Address: 1 Walsall St, Willenhall, WV13 2EX

 

Location: Darlaston Library

Date: Friday, 15th December 2023

Time: : 1pm until 4pm

Address: 1 King St, Darlaston, Wednesbury WS10 8DE


Councillor Mark Statham, Portfolio Holder for Education and Skills, said: "Parents or carers who are preparing to submit a primary school application form in January 2024 are welcome to come to one of the drop-in sessions on 15 December.

"Members of our school admissions team are on hand to help, and answer any questions or queries you may have, so be sure to pay a visit and get your application ready for submission."
