Players of The People’s Postcode Lottery from West Bromwich are finding out this morning that they are set to share a £3 million prize pot after their postcode was drawn as the winner of the November Postcode Millions.

Players in the postcode 'B70 7' will receive their invitation in the post today inviting them to a special event at the Domain Plaza Hall on Saturday 3rd December, when lottery chiefs will let them know exactly how much they’ve won.

Entrants of the scheme play with their postcode to be in with a chance of winning, whilst also raising money for charity. With a minimum of 30% going to good causes across Great Britain and internationally, players have raised over £154.8 million for charities to date.

It’s not just the lucky players from B70 7 who are benefiting from playing the charity lottery; good causes from West Bromwich have already won.

Charities in the town who have already received funding include the West Bromwich Netball Club, who received £1,000. The club offers recreational and elite netball to young children and adults within the local area. The Great Bridge Community Forum received £862 in funding for their Farley Young People’s Project which delivers sporting activities to young people on a weekly basis. People’s Postcode Lottery Ambassador, Judie McCourt, said:
