Couples planning their big day could be in with the chance to win a wedding ceremony when Dudley Registrars host a wedding fayre and open day at the Thomas Robinson Building next month.
The popular Grade II listed venue in Cemetery Road, Stourbridge, will open its doors on Saturday 10 October from 11am to 3pm, giving couples the opportunity to explore the venue, meet registrars and find inspiration for their special day.
Visitors will be able to watch demonstration marriage ceremonies and find out more about the range of options available to help make their wedding day extra special.
A number of wedding-related exhibitors will also be attending, with displays and information covering services such as wedding cars, flowers, photography and wedding stationery.
Dudley Registrars will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions, talk couples through the process of getting married and take ceremony bookings.
Couples attending the event can also enter a free prize draw to win a wedding ceremony at the Thomas Robinson Building.
The winner will be drawn at 3pm by the Deputy Mayor of Dudley.
Councillor Ed Lawrence, cabinet member for transformation, said: “Whether couples are just starting to plan their wedding or already have a date in the diary, this is a great opportunity to come along, explore our wonderful Grade II listed venue and get some inspiration for their special day.
“Our registrars and exhibitors will be there to offer advice and answer questions, and there’s the added excitement of our free prize draw, with one lucky couple winning their wedding ceremony at the Thomas Robinson Building.”
