A woman was taken to a major trauma centre after a collision with a car in Lower Gornal yesterday afternoon.
It happened at about 12.20 on Zoar Street. The 38-year-old woman suffered facial, wrist, abdominal and leg injuries.
After treatment at the scene, she was initially taken to Russells Hall Hospital, and then transferred to the QE Hospital in Birmingham.
