Young visitors to Dudley Zoo can get their arty head on

Young visitors to the Castle Hill attraction are invited to draw their favourite animal on the new chalkboard in the farm barn.

The blackboard, on the side of the new barn’s food preparation area, has been receiving a lot of interest since being installed and keepers are enjoying seeing the artwork. Section Leader, Lesley Lewis, said:

“Our animal colouring sheets always go down well with our arty visitors and the chalkboard is proving just as popular, with some lovely pictures left for us see.”

The farm barn is open between 12:00 and 12:45 and again from 2:15 to 3:30 each day, when visitors can get close to a variety of invertebrates and fluffy animals, including rabbits, guinea pigs, cockroaches and stick insects.
