A former church leader and his wife have been charged with rape.
Stephen Timmis, 68, and Janet Timmis, 61, of Sheffield, each face eight counts of rape against one victim.
The offences allegedly took place between May and September 2008 when Mr Timmis was a leader at the city's Crowded House Church.
The pair have been bailed to appear at Sheffield Magistrates' Court on 1 December 2026.
South Yorkshire Police said they believe other people, who may have previously been members of the church, could have information relevant to the investigation.
The force said: "We are appealing for anyone with concerns or information to come forward. Anyone with information will be offered appropriate support as required."
Anyone with relevant information can contact officers on 101, or use the South Yorkshire Police website.
