A 20-year-old has been charged with murder after a man was fatally stabbed near Birmingham.
Stephen Clarke, 32, was attacked in the early hours of Saturday morning in Chester Road, Sutton Coldfield.
He was pronounced dead at the scene, West Midlands Police said.
Joseph Cargill, 20, has been charged with murder, the force said on Sunday. He has been remanded in custody to appear before magistrates in Birmingham on Monday.

"Our investigation into the incident continues, and we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area at the time," a spokesperson for West Midlands Police said.
