A man has been rescued by the emergency services after falling into a well in Staffordshire.
Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service said it was asked to come to High Street, Cheadle, at 8.40am on Sunday by West Midlands Ambulance Service.
Three crews from Staffordshire Fire and Rescue and a technical rescue unit from Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service were sent to the scene.
Police closed the road while the incident was resolved.
The man was rescued from the well at about 10.35am, and was assessed by ambulance crews at the scene, the fire service said.
