Seventeen people have been airlifted to safety after a fishing boat ran aground off the coast of Orkney.
A rescue mission was launched after the boat hit the rocks at around 6.30am on Thursday.
The Stromness RNLI all-weather lifeboat was involved in the rescue, along with the coastguard helicopter from Stornoway and the NorthLink ferry MV Hamnavoe, which launched its fast rescue boat.
The helicopter winched all of the crew to safety and flew them to Kirkwall Airport, where they were said to be safe and well.
