This new book festival, based in the heart of the Black Country, will see renowned west midlands authors join up and coming and debut authors in your local Dudley library. They'll be sharing the behind the scenes of what it's like to become a published author, what inspires their work, and how they keep the west midlands at their hearts.

Since his 1998 debut, the Sunday Times Top Ten Bestseller My Legendary Girlfriend, Birmingham based Mike Gayle has continued to produce amazing contemporary literature. This year he releases his twentieth Book, Hope Street.

Mike Gayle will be appearing at Netherton Library at 14.00 on Friday the 20th June 2025. We would like to thank the Friends of Netherton Library for their support in this event.
