MyDudley, Dudley Council’s new, easy to use online platform has signed up a massive 20,000 new accounts since it launched at the end of November.
The platform allows users to report issues such as missed bin collections, potholes and fly tipping or request a service including grit bin refills or grounds maintenance in the borough’s green spaces.
Account holders are able to track the progress of a request, keeping them informed from start to finish.
New services are coming online all the time, and the most recent enhancement allows account holders to securely view their council tax and rent balance all in one place.
MyDudley continues to receive five-star reviews from residents and visitors for its simplicity and user-friendly approach. People can make reports or raise requests 24/7 and don’t have to wait for office hours to get things moving. Councillor Phil Atkins, cabinet member for corporate strategy, said:
“We’ve doubled our MyDudley user accounts in just a month from 10,000 in December to 20,000 now. Our residents really appreciate the ability to log issues or raise a request at a time that’s convenient for them.
"When they create an account we’re able to keep them posted with their issue from start to finish. I’d definitely recommend signing up for a MyDudley account as it’s the most efficient way for residents to communicate with us.”
