Dudley Council has been nationally recognised for high standards of customer service for the eighth year running.
The local authority’s corporate and customer services division has retained the Government’s ‘customer service excellence standard’ after a recent assessment.
Dudley Council Plus, the council’s contact centre, as well as housing and council tax benefit, were areas recognised by an assessor who was impressed by the improvement in services – despite cuts to the budget.
