Dudley Zoo set to screen horror-cult classic in open-air event

For one night only, film fans are invited to congregate in the 11th century Dudley Castle courtyard, as it's transformed into an open-air cinema.

As the animals tuck in for the night and the sun drops behind the castle’s medieval walls, staff be hosting the cult horror-comedy ‘An American Werewolf in London’ on Saturday, August 5th.

Following the success of last year’s 'The Bride of Frankenstein', the attraction has once again partnered with Flatpack to present the classic 1981 movie, which carries a 15 certificate. Zoo Manager, Matt Lewis, said:

“Last year’s open-air cinema proved really popular and we’re pleased to be joining forces with Flatpack again! Bring your blankets and chairs and settle down for another spooktacular Dudley Castle after Dark event.”

Limited non-refundable tickets for the event, which will go-ahead whatever the weather, are available priced £10 and £8 for concessions, online at the Dudley Zoo Website, or by calling the zoo’s reception on 01384 215313, or in person in the Safari Shop.
