Sessions are running at Sandwell libraries to help people learn how to access the council website and sign up for a 'MySandwell' account.
A MySandwell account helps people get in touch with a range of council services, as well as paying bills, reporting problems and viewing your council tax bill.
The sessions, which last between an hour and 90 minutes, are being run as part of Customer Service Week. Sessions are happening as follows:
Wednesday 3 October
- Wednesbury Library - 10am - 12noon
- Central Library (West Bromwich) - 10.30am - 12noon
- Glebefields Library - 10.30 - 12noon
- Smethwick Library- 10.30am - 12noon
- Bleakhouse Library - 2.30pm - 3.30pm
- Brandhall Library- 2.30pm - 3.30pm
- Hamstead Library - 10.30am - 12noon
- Langley Library - 2.30pm - 3.30pm
- Oldbury Library - 2.30pm - 3.30pm
- Rounds Green Library - 2.30pm - 3.30pm
Thursday 4 October
- Great Barr Library - 10.30am - 12noon
Friday 5 October
- Great Bridge Library - 10.30am - 12noon
Councillor Syeda Khatun, Sandwell Council's deputy leader, said:
"These sessions will be really helpful for people who need a bit of assistance with getting online. There's a wide range of council services available on MySandwell and it's really useful to be able request services and report problems without having to pick up the phone."
Councillor Steve Trow, cabinet member for culture and core council services, added: "Signing up for a MySandwell account opens up a quick and easy way for people to do business with the council. I'm sure the sessions will be very popular.
If you do not have an email address, the library staff will provide you with one before the session and tablets are also provided. For more details, call your local library or just turn up on the day.
