Quinton man charged with bus racial abuse

A man from Quinton has appeared before Birmingham Magistrates Court charged with racial or religious aggravated harassment on a Birmingham bus.

Unemployed, 48 year-old Robert Porter, of Simmonds Drive, was arrested on Tuesday following a CCTV appeal.

The court heard allegations that he shouted abuse at a woman as she travelled on the number 50 bus in Moseley.
