A suspected armed robber from Stourbridge has been charged with a series of shop raids, including one where staff members were threatened with a double-barrelled shotgun.
37 year old Michael Webb form Kingsway appeared before Dudley Magistrates yesterday.
The charges include attempting to rob a bookmakers in Wollaston, last Friday, armed with a shotgun, and stealing £600 during a robbery at nearby Sainsbury’s an hour later.
Webb was arrested by officers in Stourbridge where he was found to be carrying a knife in public.
