Woman charged after assaulting emergency worker

A 56-year-old woman has been charged after allegedly spitting and throwing the contents of a sick bowl over a nurse whilst being treated for COVID-19 symptoms on Saturday.

Lesley Pike, of Caroline Street, Kates Hill, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker and has been bailed.

She will appear before Dudley Magistrates Court on Thursday 21 May.
