Fun For All The Family At Dudley's Museums

Families can keep their children entertained after the Christmas period and throughout 2017 at the Red House Glass Cone and the Archives.

Juniors at Museums provide a fun and creative programme of activities for children of all ages, their families and friends. Many activities are free of charge including enjoyable trails and the regular Sticky Saturdays. Other activities incur a small charge to cover the cost of the pastime, including glass themed sessions and holiday schools.

Scheduled sessions for all the family include glass fusing, glass crafts, themed days, trails, and pet fests.

To find out a full list of activities between January and June download a copy of the Juniors at Museums leaflet at dudley.gov.uk (search Juniors at Museums). Cllr Khurshid Ahmed, cabinet member for planning and economic development, said:

“It would be well worth all parents to download a copy of this museum leaflet to find out what activities we are offering the young people of Dudley. We have loads for them to do ranging from free events to those with just a small cost.

“Your child will be able to learn new skills, including glass fusing, in a safe environment and we offer regular Sticky Saturday sessions to help fight the weekend boredom. Why not book them into today for some fun at our venues?”
