A Stourbridge gym is to hold a 24-hour cycling spin class, in support of the Mary Stevens Hospice.
Gym-goers and Hospice supporters will take on the gruelling all-day challenge to raise money and awareness for the Hagley Road charity, which supports families impacted by life-limiting illnesses.
All participants are welcome, and can drop by at any time to take part for any length of time at Pump Gyms, Ryemarket Stourbridge, DY8 1HJ on Monday 20th March 2017. Aaron Jackson, General Manager at Pump Gyms said:
“Following the huge success of our recent Zumbathon, Pump Gyms have decided to take on a 24 hour Spinathon - cycling none stop for a whole day.
"We've decided to raise money for the Mary Stevens Hospice once again, as we feel it's a cause more than worthy of all our efforts. Please come along and take part, whether it's for 5 minutes or 5 hours, your contributions are all greatly appreciated.”
Amanda Bowen, Deputy Head of Fundraising for the Hospice added:
“It's a fantastic thing that Aaron and his team are doing for us, and we're so grateful to everyone that is planning to get involved and contribute to this incredible challenge.
"It's going to require a huge amount of determination, commitment and support for them to get through it, however if anyone can then it's our good friends at Pump Gyms.
"We'd love to see as many Hospice supporters there as possible, whether it's to do 20 minutes on the bike or just to cheer the guys on, it all makes a huge difference!”
