One of our current projects, Talking Therapies, has provided creative craft sessions for vulnerable groups, including residents in care homes, people with hearing and visual impairments, South Asian and Afro-Caribbean women, neurodiverse individuals, women who have experienced domestic violence, and members of the armed forces community. These sessions offer a safe, welcoming space where people can express themselves, build connections, and explore aspects of their lived experiences through creativity. Many participants have shared that making something with their hands helps them process their feelings in a way that feels less overwhelming than talking alone.
